• Its aims are to determine incidence inchildren uner 16 years ; report clinical features; to report on early management; mortality and morbisdity
• The study hopes to inform on future newborn screening policy
• Funded: The Department of Health
• Ethics: Approved by the Thames Valley MREC (Ref: 07/MRE12/25) and has been granted PIAG Section 60 Support (Ref: PIAG/BPSU 1-05(FT4)/2007).
