Severe Neonatal Hypernatraemia
- This condition- (raised serum sodium levels) primarily arises following
difficulties with breastmilk transfer though this is not the only reason for the occurance of the condition
- Surveillance of hypernatraemia will commence in May 2009 and run for 13 monhs
- The study aims to describe the epidemiology of sever hypernatraemia (raised serum sodium levels) in the neontal period; also to assess treatment and outcome.
